Ece Aydın
Ece Aydın graduated from Biruni University, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics in 2022 and received her master's degree in Molecular and Medical Genetics from the same university. She studied Sociology at Istanbul University through distance education programme. Her academic focus includes nutrigenetics, immunology, and microbiology, with a particular interest in exploring gene-nutrient interactions. Aydin, effectively incorporates artificial intelligence and programming tools into her research, showcasing her interdisciplinary approach. She thrives in collaborative environments, working seamlessly with diverse teams from various cultural and professional backgrounds. Aydin has gained valuable professional experience as an international student advisor at Biruni University and as a trainee at “Next Genetic Center,” where she honed her practical skills in molecular genetics. Additionally, she has provided consultancy services in epigenetics through her role at Epigenetics Coaching. Among her notable scientific contributions is a research project titled “The effect of let-7a microRNA on cisplatin sensitivity in A549 lung cancer cells,” which was published in a Q2-ranked journal, contributing to the international scientific literature. Aydin is proficient in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, and cell culture, and has expertise in software like Microsoft Office, Python, and Swift. She is also the founder of “Genetikce,” a brand officially registered with the Turkish Patent Institute. With her strong passion for scientific discovery and a wide range of technical skills, she aims to make significant contributions to the fields of nutrigenetics and epigenetics through innovative research and groundbreaking findings
